MarketLink Transition to FFAB: What You Need to Know
— Exciting Transition Ahead
MarketLink will shift from a program of NAFMNP to FFAB.
The Farmers Food Assistance Bureau (FFAB) is a new nonprofit organization formed with the mission of working with ALL federal nutrition benefits programs as well as related incentive programs. MarketLink will transition from a program of the National Association of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (NAFMNP) to FFAB beginning in October, and will be fully shifted over as of January 2025.
There will be no change in services provided. All of the USDA grants for farmers and markets to accept SNAP, receive equipment, or complete the process to accept SNAP Online will remain unchanged. MarketLink will be incorporating the Novo Dia Group technology into the program, so procedures will become more streamlined. Any changes that will affect farmers, markets, or customers will be clearly communicated.

About FFAB
The Farmers Food Assistance Bureau (FFAB) is a new nonprofit organization formed with the mission of working with ALL federal nutrition benefits programs as well as related incentive programs. The mission of FFAB is to empower farmers and farmers markets by utilizing technology to simplify financial transactions and through improved access to federal nutrition benefits programs.
When will the transition happen?
The transition was completed in January 2025.
How will MarketLink be affected by this transition?
MarketLink will transition to a program of FFAB, but no services will be affected. As the team streamlines current procedures and provides new services, existing customers will be notified. The MarketLink webpage will remain the best location to find information about the programs offered.
How will this affect my USDA SNAP equipment and/or SNAP online grant?
This will not affect any services you have received under your SNAP Equipment or SNAP Online Grant. As we roll out new features to streamline processes and provide enhanced customer service we will keep you informed.
Both grants are currently available, and new applications are still being accepted.
What will this mean for the TotilPay Go (TPG) platform?
TotilPay Go (TPG) will continue to be available, and will be managed by the MarketLink team going forward. All TPG applications, services, and functionality along with the related suite of services will still be provided.
Why is MarketLink moving to FFAB?
As the MarketLink program has grown, it has taken on projects beyond the scope of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs, such as SNAP and incentive program technology development. This, combined with Novo Dia Group’s desire to donate its technology, meant that the time has come to move MarketLink out from under the umbrella of NAFMNP.
What will this mean for Novo Dia Group (NDG)?
Novo Dia Group will donate all technology, collaborate in its transition, and then cease operations as of December 31, 2024.
Will NAFMNP still be involved?
NAFMNP is facilitating this transition, and will retain a seat on the Board of FFAB.
NAFMNP will continue to represent the administrators of the NAFMNP programs, and hold its annual conferences.
