United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS)

USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) works to end hunger and obesity through the administration of 15 federal nutrition assistance programs including WIC, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and school meals. In partnership with State and Tribal governments, their programs serve one in four Americans during the course of a year. Working with public, private and non-profit partners, their mission is to increase food security and reduce hunger by providing children and low-income people access to food, a healthful diet and nutrition education in a way that supports American agriculture and inspires public confidence. No American should have to go hungry.

National Association of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (NAFMNP)

The National Association of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (NAFMNP) is a non-profit corporation founded in 1992. It is the nation’s only organization that links States, the District of Columbia, Indian Tribal Organizations, Territories and others with a stake in USDA’s Farmers’ Market Nutrition Programs (including local fruit and vegetable growers and low-income families and seniors) with a shared mission. This mission is to cultivate opportunities for consumers to buy fresh produce from local growers.

Novo Dia Group

The Novo Dia Group (NDG) is s a technology services and software development firm founded to assist clients in implementing cost-effective solutions while improving citizen services. NDG offers a farmers market solution that is affordable and meets the requirements of processing SNAP, WIC, FMNP and CVB benefits. Mobile Market+ is an application designed to enable farmers markets the ability to process WIC, SNAP, credit and debit transactions. Mobile Market+ is an application that works on either an iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad.
